Radically Happy

“Lord, I cannot be / What you ask me to be / I have always been a red cell / Without even the genes / To make my own proteins / How can I digest the poisons / Or even morph to consume them?”

I shudder / 
What could be worse / 
Than having to slay my Lord?

I cannot carry away the waste / The toxicity is building up…

Why? / Why the rush? // Do I need oxygen myself? / Cannot I just go with the flow? / Am I afraid the other blood cells / Won’t do the job correctly / Or on time?…

This battle / Is not an exile / But our honeymoon…

To make them dangerous…

Roam the streets / 
Preying on the unwary / 
The desperate / 
And each other…

Can I talk to anyone /

What they mean / 
From what they say…

Buried treasure / 
I cannot see it / 
But I can feel it…
