I am… launched.

As my head explodes
I realize
It was never
The center of my being

My heart
Carries away
Everything most true about me
From the wreckage of my self

I look to My Father.

He is stretching out His arms
To receive me
Like Jesus on the cross

I look closer.

My Father’s hands
Also appear
To have nail scars on them

But when I gaze
More closely
I realize
It is His hands holding…

All the darkness in the world!
