I am… pulled up.

My Father reaches down
With both hands
And lifts me

Out of the womb
Of my self-protection
And self-deception

Reborn
Into the land
Of those I once
Considered my enemies

I look to My Father.

He breathes life
Not into my mouth
Through my head

But directly
Into My heart

My heart expands.

It continues growing
Bursting with love
For friends
For families
For foes

Until I think
My heart is ready to burst

And then
To my shock and horror
Instead…

My brain explodes.
