The pit
I thought
I failed into

Was always my sanctuary
Where I felt safe
In control
Well fortified

To arise out
Would leave me exposed
Defenseless
Needy

I look to My Father.

He answers:

“Did I not tell you
That anyone
Who wishes to receive
And spread
My peace
Must first…”

“Be born again!”
