I am… transfused.

As I surrender my spirit
The blood of Jesus
Penetrates
The hollow cavity of my body

Recursively
Fractally
Generatively

At every level of creation

I look for Jesus.

He is not
A separate object
Localized in space
Somewhere
In the universe

He is the universe.

My blood-filled eyes
See only Jesus
Everywhere

Just
Arranged differently
To form atoms
Bits
Souls

Sometimes obvious.

More often hidden
Behind complicated damage

Which is really
The most intricate
And glorious patterns

I gasp.

As my mind
Heart
Soul
Strength

Are utterly taken
By the love
Of Jesus

Then He says:

“At last
It is finally…”

“The time to come!”

Scripture

It’s not sacrifices that really move your heart. Burnt offerings, sin offerings—those aren’t what bring you joy. But when you open my ears and speak to me, I become your willing servant, your prisoner of love for life.
