I am… grateful.

I reorient
Turning to see
My two broken mothers
As portions of a whole

Divided
For me

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“The time has come
To respond
Resolve
Reciprocate

“Their decreation
With yours”

I cringe.

My whole identity
My very existence
Has been defined
By identifying
And disidentifying
With one
Or both
Of them

Oh.

Not them

Us!

I back up
Far
Far away

Take a running start
And dive headfirst
Between them…

To fill the gap!
