Continued from Spirit-Wind Command

I am… cradled.

My Father pauses the trial
Steps down from the bench
Picks me up
And holds me close to His chest

I burst into tears.

I don’t even know why

But He does

My Father looks to me.

He says:

“Don’t worry
I know it has been difficult
Living alone
Feeling torn in two”

My Father rises.

He carries me back to the bench
Sits back down
And seats me at His right hand
Saying:

“You are right on time
Because this trial
Is actually about you”

I lift my eyes.

I see my two selves
The religious part
And the wicked part
Seated at opposite tables

I look to My Father.

He smiles
And says:

“The reason
You feel empty
Is not for lack of friends
But because
Your heart
Is divided from itself”

He bangs His hammer!

And says sternly:

“They both
Have a legitimate claim
On you
But today
The time has come…”

“For Me to decide!”
