I am… rewarded.

Facing my death
Opened my eyes
To see the burning life
My hollow existence lacked

I look to My Father.

He says:

“You are a man
With a frozen heart
In a land of people
With frozen hearts
Yet you have seen
The Face of God”

I bow down in worship.

He summons
Goodness and Mercy

They walk
To the nearest skeleton
Whose inner darkness
I can now see
Is consumed by eternity

Goodness
Opens the heart
Mercy
Reaches into to touch it

Together
They bring
The eternal flame
To my frozen heart…

Which explodes!
