I am… rising up.

I thought
I was a fruit tree
Planted in a corner

Angry
That I was not bearing fruit

Only to discover
That was because…

I am an Ent!

A tree-shepherd
Fallen asleep
Deluded

Literally
De-ranged

I look to My Father.

He says:

“It is folly
But not sin
For a shepherd
To over-identify
With their sheep”

I ask:

“So what
Should I do instead?”

He says:

“Raise the trees…”

“To identify with me!”
