I look toward the light.

The shadow that protects me
Holds me
Nurtures me
Reunites me
Defines me

Comes from the cross

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Thank you
For being strong
So that those you love
Could feel safe”

He beckons toward the cross.

“Now your reward
Is to embrace
The weakness of Christ
