I am… stabilized.

I am in the place
Where Jesus was birthed

But he is not here.

He has ascended
Far beyond the religion
That birthed Him

I look for Jesus.

All I can see
Is the star
That wiser men than me
Once followed

I bow down.

It seems
Impossibly far away

I can’t imagine
Any way
For me to get there

It is too far
And I am too tired

My heart speaks:

“That is why
You must…”

“Let me go first!”
