Picks me up
Wraps me in swaddling clothes
And lays me in my mother’s manger

And calls me

“Christamicus”

I look for Jesus.

As I reverted to childhood
He became a Son of Man

He stretches out
A nail-scarred hand
And says to me:

“Hello, friend!”
