The one
Who does not see Christ
Though He is right in front of me

Because
He is parked in my manger
Obstructing my self-nurture

I look for Jesus.

I see Him
Seeing me
In my very act of unseeing Him

I see eternity
Inside of Him
Calling out
The eternity inside me

I see the universe.

Hidden in the eyes of a Child.

Creation
Crucifixion
Resurrection

Captured by incarnation.

And He speaks to me
Beyond words
To let me know:

“It is true
You were the goat
But now that means
You get to be…”

“The greatest of all time!”
