I am… without a gift.

I was so worried
About making others
Honor the Child
That I carried

That I betrayed Him

The rooster crows.

But rather than condemnation
I feel joy

Because the light is dawning
And now I see clearly
Hear clearly

And understand everything
That was said
Despite meaningless words

I listen to the Spirit.

He intercedes
With groanings
Too deep for words

So I lift my empty hands…

And worship!
