I am… searching.

Trying to find a home
That will save the Child
That can save me

But nobody
Seems to have
Any room
For an alien
And a stranger

I listen for the Spirit.

I see a light

It is not
Over the homes
Of the brilliant
And the powerful

But the brutish
The outcast
The marginalized
Like me

I lay my burden down.

And to my surprise
Royal messengers arrive
Bearing gifts

Love
Joy
Peace
Patience
Goodness
Self-control

And together…

We worship!
