I am… in a good mood.

I have no idea why
Because this whole idea
Of me performing surgery
On my beloved’s mother
Is completely insane

But if Jesus
Can rise from the dead
Then surely
He can rise above my mistakes

I look at Jesus.

“Just out of curiosity”

I say

“Why aren’t you
Doing the operation
Yourself?”

Jesus grins.

He replies:

“Because I will hold her
So she falls into a deep sleep
And then you can cut off
Her infected feet…”

“And replace them with mine!”
