I am… the last one standing.

I shot Jesus
And killed Him

In my defense
He provoked me

In fact
In these parts..

He is an outlaw.

I turn in His body
Collect my thirty pieces of silver
Pay off our family’s debts

My family
Now accepts me

But I cannot
Accept myself

Because of what I have done
What He made me do

I look for Jesus.

Three days later
He appears
Dressed as before
But now all in white

Though His bandana
Looks more like a surgical mask
As He says:

“Come along…”

“It is time to go fishing!”
