I am… transformed.

For the fertile valley
Has its own narrow gorges
But this time…

We are the beasts!

And I realize
The beast we fought and killed
And fed on
Was Christ Himself

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Yes
The slaughter of Christ
For the sins of others
Is the most fundamental
Layer of reality

“As well as
The gateway
To each deeper level”

I realize my destiny.

I provoke the young woman
Whom the darkness
Had transformed to a Beast
Like me

And when she pounces…

I surrender!
