I am… belonging.

All of us
Working together
To bring in the harvest

For ourselves
Each other
And the hungry

Many reap
Others gather
Some glean

Most work the center
I stalk the edges

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“Congratulations
You have reached
The end of the age
Where the time has come
To separate the wheat from the tares”

The city gates open.

The LORD of the harvest
Comes riding out
Surrounded by His host

He says:

“Well done
Good and faithful workers”

He looks us over.

Saying:

“It does not matter
How long you worked
Or where
Or even why”

He looks to us.

Smiling
As He says:

“Wherever you worked
In the least of these fields
You were working for Me!”

Concluding:

“All has been made ready
Come…”

“Join Me in My feast!”
