My self
Expands
To the point of disappearing

Making space
For my wife
And children

To be fully themselves
Yet wholly mine

Just as I am in Christ

I look for Jesus.

He is everywhere
As far as the eye can see
As deep as the heart can feel
And all of the in-betweens

We are His
We are in Him
We are Him

We rise
Together
Like helium balloons

Going out from there
Filling the earth
With the knowledge
Of the glory
Of the LORD

Until He says:

“It is finished!”
