I am… feeling invaded.

Buck
The big mercenary
With an Australian accent
Wants my Heart to lead them
So they can stop fighting and go home

Brain thinks
This is a terrible idea
But maybe
That is because he is jealous

I look to my Heart.

Heart says:

“Finally!”

My Heart jumps
Out of my chest
And onto my sleeve

He ignores Brain
Smiles at Donkey
And bows to Angel

Then he turns to Buck
And the other mercenaries
Saying:

“Look!”

“I am deeply honored
That you sought me out
And I am thrilled
At the opportunity
To lead you home”

The lawless mercenaries cheer.

But then heart
Grows cold
And continues:

“But there is a reason
I was locked away
And you chose to fight”

Heart calls Angel.

Angel approaches
And Heart jumps
To his sleeve
While Angel
Raises his sword

“Brain
As is his duty
Wants to keep
Each of us safe
But if you follow me
I will…”

“Lead you to death!”
