Listen to the voice saying “be gentle”
versus the one that says “be certain”

Immanuel Approach Memo
Continued from Time to Strike
I am… followed.
The hundreds of men
Rolling down to the enemy camp
Have never done this before
Neither have I.
But I invited them on this journey
So they naturally look to me
Hoping I know what I’m doing
So do I
So…
I look for Jesus.
He is right in front of me
And always was
But I didn’t notice
Until I looked
He is right in front of me
And always was
But I didn’t notice
Until I looked
He points

Without thinking
Most go Right
Many go Left
Few stay with me in the Center
I am confused
And dismayed
I ask:
“Why have you allowed us to divide ourselves?”
Jesus smiles
And says:
“The enemy
Thinks we are weak
Because you are divided”
He grins
And stretches out His arms
“Yet I Am
Not divided
But broken for you
And this way…”
“We have them surrounded!”

Scripture
He divided his three hundred men into three groups and gave each man a shofar and a clay jar hiding a torch inside it. He told them, “Follow me! When I get to the edge of the camp, watch me closely and do exactly what I do. When my group and I blow our shofars, then you blow yours all around the camp and shout, ‘For Yahweh and for Gideon!’ ”
Judges 7:16-20 TPT
Just before midnight, after the changing of the Midianite guard, Gideon and his hundred men came to the outskirts of the camp. Then each of the three groups blew the shofars and broke the clay jars that hid the torches inside. They held their torches in their left hands, the shofars in their right, and shouted a thunderous battle cry, “A sword for Yahweh and for Gideon!”
