I am… intimidated.

The father of my fiery wife
Is as cold as ice

He is a battle-scarred general
Of enormous reputation
Who has fought gallantly against the enemy

And blind
To how the fighting has changed
Or the opportunity we now have
To defeat them

I listen for the Spirit.

He says:

“Don’t try to be a hero
Join his ranks…”

“And trust Me to change everything!”

When Sisera found out that Barak son of Abinoam was marching toward Mount Tabor, he gathered together his nine hundred iron-rimmed chariots and all his soldiers and sent them from Harosheth of the Gentiles to the Kishon River.
Then Deborah prophesied to Barak, “Today, Yahweh has given you victory over Sisera! Go! Yahweh is marching out before you!”
