I am… surrendered.

I stop resisting
The diaphoric glory of God

I allow it
To wash away my ego

Wash through me
Like a never-ending flood
Of joy

I lose myself.

Time has no meaning
I have no desires
No fears

Only connection
Like the womb

Until suddenly
The water breaks
And I spill out
Into The Land

When I open my eyes…

I look to My Father.

I see His Face
And do not die

I see The Land
In His Eyes

Whole
Redeemed
Cleansed
Purified

But not sterile

Purified
Vibrant
Teeming
Glorious

I see nothing else.

Nothing beside My Father
Everything in Him

I ask:

“Is this
Something better
Than mere intimacy?”

My Father laughs.

He says:

“Everything
In its season
And each season
Better than the one before
But in different ways”

The He points
To the far horizon
And says:

“This season
Is ending…”

“Behold your reward!”
