I am… connected.

I did not remove
The Staff of Law
From The Land

I impaled myself upon it
Piercing my own heart

Allowing it to burn away
The deep corruption
Hidden within my bones

I look to My Father.

His smile
Contains infinite
Joy and sadness

He says:

“Now you know
The only safe way
To wield the Law

“By allowing it
To unmake you”

He opens my eyes.

I see
The Staff of Law
Glowing brighter

I see
It burning away
The hidden corruption
Underlying The Land

I see
My bones
Beginning to melt

Until…

We explode!
