Hat tip to Thomas

Look for excuses to rejoice,
rather than vice versa.

Today’s Most Important Challenge is…

  • Recovering that which I thought lost
  • But Christ has preserved

Yahweh Approach Memo

Continued from Faithfully Walk

I am… training.

The small child
Who brought light to my darkness
Is teaching me
How to fight with a staff
In preparation for my quest

He does not let me wield
The Staff of Law
He used to reform me

Perhaps he does not trust
My clumsy giant fingers

He only uses it
As a supremely rigid rod
To effectively spar with me
Despite our vast height difference

I look to My Father.

His eyes twinkle
As He says:

“The time will come
For you to wield
The Staff of Law

His voice lowers:

“Even though…”

“It may destroy you both!”

To be continued

Reflection

I feel…

  • Disciplined
  • Mastered
  • Ponderous
  • Outmatched
  • Envy

Scripture

Here is a list of the nations that Yahweh permitted to remain in the land so he could use them to test the Israelites who had not known what it was like during the Canaanite wars.
He wanted the succeeding generations of Israel, who had not known war before, to learn the art of warfare.‭‭

Judges‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬
