I am… the wild magic.

I am not of this world
Therefore I am broken
In very different ways
Than they are

That gives me the power
To deny their reality
With the force of my will

That is why
I am a gift
And a threat
To them
And myself

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Do not fear
Your power
Or theirs”

He opens my eyes.

I realize
That the emotional detachment
Which had been my curse
And my protection
Is gone

I am overwhelmed.

The beauty of this land
Despite its woundedness
Cuts me to quick

I fall to my knees.

“Good”

Says My Father.

“Now you are ready…”

“To remake the world!”
