I am… dying.

I cannot see
What I have delivered
While laboring
To lead like Jesus

It feels like everything
That brought me here
Has been broken and spilled out
In the presence of our enemies

I look for Jesus.

He is still holding my hand
But He is not
Apart from my mess
He is
A part of my mess

I see Jesus.

In my brokenness and failure
As wholeness and victory

In the place
Where death becomes life
Weakness is strength
And losing begets winning

And I suddenly realize
That being lifted up on a cross
With our shame and nakedness
Exposed to the world

Is what it really means…

To lead like Jesus!

To be concluded
