I am… dead.

I don’t know
How I am still aware enough
To recognize I am dead
But I do

I look to My Father.

He says:

“I AM present
Even in death
And because I love you
You are too”

I cannot reply.

Or even grieve
My inability to reply
Because I am
Still dead

God continues.

He says:

“Because
I AM life
Death
Is not the end”

He speaks a Word.

I cannot hear it
But something happens
And suddenly…

I feel!
