MIC Check
Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- The courage and grace
- To confess my truth
- Especially when it isn’t real
Immanuel Approach Memo
In a galaxy far, far away…
Concluding from Covenant Between
I am… forgiven.
My earthly father
Thrust his naked hands
Into the bonfire of my sacrifice
To burn away the human veneer
And reveal
The same artificial coping
That I used
I realize
The inauthentic discipline
That shaped me
Into doing the same
Was part of the curse
We inherited from Adam
And thus
Not our fault
But His good gift
I look for Jesus.
He is there
In the flames
Taking the sacrifice
Of our hands…
And making them His.
He looks to us
And my sister
And says:
“Go
Into all the worlds
And share the good news
That the curse has been broken
And the time has come
For every family
To be united…”
Starting with mine!
The End
(Of Episode 1?)
Reflection
I feel…
- Graced
- Reconciled
- Connected
- Redeemed
- Uncursed
Scripture
Joshua recorded all this in a book of divine instruction.
Joshua 24:26-28 TPT
Then he set up a large stone memorial at the tent pole near the holy place of Yahweh.
Joshua said to all the people,
“Look at this stone! It will serve as a witness, for it heard all the words that Yahweh spoke to us; it will be a witness against you if you rebel against our God.”
Joshua then dismissed the people, each to their own inheritance.
