In a galaxy far, far away…

I am… wrecked.

Jesus played chicken
With the enemy ships pursuing me
And nobody blinked

Everything they had built
To force me to comply

Everything I had built
To escape their control

Is ruined

I feel the oxygen
In my lungs
Being consumed
By the harshness
Of infinite space

I feel like
I am going to die

I look for Jesus.

He stretches out His arms
Like Groot

He pulls us together
Against our will

He tells us:

“I can only shelter you
Like this
For a short time
You must quickly work together…”

“To build something new!”

“Joshua warned the people, “Don’t be so quick to say, ‘We will worship and serve Yahweh,’ for he is a holy God. And he will tolerate no rivals. God will not forgive the sin of unfaithfulness to him.
