In a galaxy far, far away…

Continued from Impossiblity

I am… drenched.

I cross the river
To the land of my father’s past
At the invitation of Jesus

To my surprise
The warring tribes
Are happy
Despite their scars
And periodic starvation

I look for Jesus.

He says:

“The only thing
They really need
Is more of Me
Everything else
Is distraction
Or details”

I fall on my knees.

“Lord
What must I do
To redeem my past
And secure our future?”

Jesus looks to me.

He stretches out his arms
And says:

“Plant me!”
