I am… kneeling.

I still don’t know the words
On the scroll I am reading

But when the Spirit calmed me
I recognized the letters

When the Spirit prompted me
I began praying aloud

My colossal body
Formed out of dry bones
Begins to shake
With deep sobs

All our pain
Death
Loss
Regret
Failure
Grief
Waste

Come pouring out of us
Forming a river
From our tears

I pound the earth
Four
Five
Six times

I look to My Father.

I speak His name
In the unknown language

He answers:

“Yes
I have heard your request
And granted it
Even if you did not know
What you were asking for”

My Father looks to me.

He points:

“I swear
By My own Name
That if you follow
The river of your tears
You will receive…”

“The nations as your inheritance!”
