“This day is a day of distress and rebuke and disgrace, as when children come to the moment of birth and there is no strength to deliver them.
2 Kings 19:3-4 NIV
It may be that the Lord your God will hear all the words of the field commander, whom his master, the king of Assyria, has sent to ridicule the living God, and that he will rebuke him for the words the Lord your God has heard. Therefore pray for the remnant that still survives.”

Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Recognizing the hidden fears
- That keep me from forgiving those
- Whose actions I find offensive
Immanuel Approach Memo
Continued from Defiled
I am… crushed.
The altar I had sacrificed
To build a platform for Jesus
In the presence of my adversaries
Collapses under His weight
I feel foolish
Ridiculous
Incompetent
Deluded
Then I see Jesus.
He did not
Fall through the floor
Of my shoddy labor
He launched Himself upward
With such force
No earthly structure
Could resist Him
With such force
No earthly structure
Could resist Him
He does not
Resent my imperfection
He relishes
My willingness
To be crushed by Him…
As He takes to the skies!
To be continued
Reflection
I feel…
- Honored
- Supportive
- Ruined
- Redeemed
- Partaking of His glory
Scripture
“Don’t forget what happened to Achan! Yahweh told us, ‘Destroy everything in the city of Jericho.’ But Achan son of Zerah did not obey Yahweh’s command regarding the devoted things, and so Yahweh punished us all. Achan died because of what he did, and so did many other Israelites because of Achan’s sin.”
Joshua 22:20 TPT
