Identity Exchange Memo
Continued from Empowered
I am… stabled.
The intimidating iron door
To the Gingerbread House
Swings open
At a Word from the Prince
Inside
There are no mangers
But the walls
Are good enough to eat
And magically renew themselves
So the building doesn’t collapse
I look to Cinderella.
She still waits in her clearing
With the Prince’s horse
Despite the way
And door
We had opened
I whinny to the prince:
“Why doesn’t she
Enter in?Isn’t Your horse
Also hungry?”
Then a miracle occurs.
The Prince says:
“I have food to eat
You know not of”
He plucks a sugar plum
From inside the building
Tosses it like a football
Hundreds of yards to the clearing…
Where it explodes!
To be continued
Reflection
I feel…
- Skeptical
- Indulged
- Fed
- Whiny
- Untrusting
- Stable
