The reason I fear
Others’ sin

Is because I know
I lack the grace
To cover it

And have been conditioned
To avoid the cross
That would cure both

Question 17: HCIS-MFI-MTI

How can I step more fully into my true identity?

  • Be present
  • In My Presence
  • So I can bring
  • Them presents

Identity Exchange Memo

Continued from Impassioned

I am… racing.

Jesus is riding me
In a competition
Against five mares
Sired by His horse

This feels unfair.

Jesus
Is a lot heavier
Than their jockeys

I
Have only been a horse
Instead of a mouse
For a couple days

They
Have been trained
For generations

Jesus grins.

“Their strength
Is their weakness
Your shame
Is My glory”

The gun goes off
Immediately we fall behind

Still I run
So hard
I think my heart will burst

It does…

Then a miracle occurs.

My chest explodes
Not
With blood and gore
To bring death

But instead…

With Wings!

To be continued

Reflection

I feel…

  • Set up
  • Singled out
  • Ill-equipped
  • Pushed beyond my limits
  • Heartbroken
  • Transformed
  • Secure

Scripture

Manasseh’s grandson Gilead had a son named Hepher who had a son named Zelophehad, who had no sons. But he did have five daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
They came before the priest Eleazar and Joshua son of Nun and the leaders, and said, “Yahweh commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our relatives.
So according to Yahweh’s commandment, he gave an inheritance to them as he did to their uncles. Since Joshua assigned land to both Manasseh’s male and female descendants, the tribe of Manasseh received ten shares of land on the west side of the Jordan River and two on the east (the territories of Gilead and Bashan).‭‭
