MIC Check
Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Nurturing generative contexts
- That nurture more such contexts
Immanuel Approach Memo
Continued from Altared
I am… foundational.
My body and blood
Melt into the earth
Destroying
Remaking
Becoming
New foundations
For the city
That was His enemy
And mine
I look for Jesus.
He is the lamb
That was slain
as the foundation of the world
As I
Partake of Him
I restore
And am restored to
What existed from eternity
I cry out:
“Jesus
How will they know
We are their friends
When all they can see
Is that their city
Was destroyed through us?”
I see My Father
He stoops down from heaven
And writes in the dust of the earth
Words never formed by human hands
And suddenly…
I understand!
To be concluded
Reflection
I feel…
- Gory
- Wrecked
- Elemental
- Connected
- Hopeful
- Accelerated
- Offered
Scripture
He followed the commands that Moses the Lord’s servant had written in the Book of Instruction: “Make me an altar from stones that are uncut and have not been shaped with iron tools.”
Joshua 8:31-32 NLT
Then on the altar they presented burnt offerings and peace offerings to the Lord. And as the Israelites watched, Joshua copied onto the stones of the altar the instructions Moses had given them.
