I am… getting off the couch.

And being strapped
Into another one

It is not my fault
Well
Not entirely

I’m not lazy
I was told to wait
Though I didn’t know why

At first
I didn’t handle it well
But eventually
I started to train

And now…

I look to My Father.

As I lean back
Stare at the stars
And hear Him say:

“3… 2… 1…”

“Blast off!”
