MIC Check
Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Letting God put together
- The pieces of my fractured heart
- So we all move forward together
- With Him
Spirit Approach Memo
Concluding from My Window
I am… crushed.
But not destroyed
Yet
The shards of the pillar I smashed
Created pockets of air
Beneath the collapsing walls
I was ready to die
I’m not sure I’m ready
To die a slow lingering death
From bleeding
Starvation
Asphyxiation
I cannot move
I can barely breathe
Nobody knows I’m still alive
Or has any way to get to me
I am tempted to panic
Instead…
I listen for the Spirit.
He says:
“My precious child
Thank you for all you have done
Now
Your final task
Is to trust Me
Enough
To enter into My rest”
I take a deep breath.
This may be my last
But I will use
What little I have
To praise my God
For the privilege
Of giving Him
All that I had
I let it go.
As I do
I see a light
I assume I’m dead
And it is angels
Come to sing me home
But no
It is miners
Not a rescue party
They are shocked to see me
They were sent by my King
To retrieve a treasure
That would establish His authority
To take dominion over this land
And end the conflict
They lift me up.
And in the place
Where my body was broken
And my blood was spilled
I see a plaque
Placed there
Before the foundations of the world
They clean it up
As others tend my wounds
The last thing I see
Before I escape
Into healing sleep
are the words:
On this rock I will build my church.
Finit
Reflection
I feel…
- Smooshed
- Immobilized
- Forgotten
- Dismissed
- As good as dead
- Delivered
- Prepared for
- Victorious
Scripture
The spies went straight to the hill country and hid there for three days, until the pursuers turned back. The king’s men had scoured the countryside without finding them.
Joshua 2:22-24 TPT
Then the two men came down from the hills and crossed back over the Jordan to their camp. They reported to Joshua son of Nun all that had happened to them: “Yahweh has certainly handed over the entire land into our hands! All the people of the land melt in fear before us!”
