Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Allowing the Holy Spirit
- To dig deep enough
- To find the hidden truth beneath the subtle lies
- That will set me and others free
Spirit Approach Memo
Continued from I Pledge.
I am… undermining.
We are tunneling
Under the walls
I have convinced the rebels
That their best chance of success
Is to let in the army
That sent me here
I hope
Many of them still do not trust me
They need a sign
Very soon
That I truly want what they want
Understand what must be done
And will never forsake them
I listen for the Spirit.
He says:
“Send them out
Both sides of the tunnel
While you stay inside
To destroy the last pillar”
I see through.
I am not a spy
Sent to gather information
And spread rumors
I am a sacrifice
Sent to demonstrate
The honor of My King
The city I infiltrated
Is not the outer world
But my inner heart
The city I infiltrated
Is not the outer world
But my inner heart
That longs for a just ruler
But doesn’t know
If one exists
That is worth trusting
I yield to the Spirit.
My former enemy
Weeps in farewell
Gives me a hug
And leads half the rebels
To meet My King’s army
I kneel in prayer.
“Father
Into thy hands
I commit My Spirit”
I take my stand.
I lift the magic hammer
I got from my old man
I shout:
And strike the last pillar
Then whisper:
“I am finished”
As the walls come tumbling down…
On me!
To be concluded

Scripture
Before they left, the men told her, “We will be bound by the oath we have taken only if you follow these instructions. When we come into the land, you must leave this scarlet rope hanging from the window through which you let us down.
Joshua 2:17-21 NLT
And all your family members—your father, mother, brothers, and all your relatives—must be here inside the house. If they go out into the street and are killed, it will not be our fault. But if anyone lays a hand on people inside this house, we will accept the responsibility for their death. If you betray us, however, we are not bound by this oath in any way.”
“I accept your terms,” she replied. And she sent them on their way, leaving the scarlet rope hanging from the window.
