A statue
Frozen in time

Mischievous children
Who knew no better
Struck me with a stick
Knocking off my lips
Leaving a hollow spot

I want to cry out
But cannot

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Fear not
There are no words
For what you feel”

He opens my chest
We see my heart
Dancing with a weird energy
I cannot name

My Father looks to me.

He says:

“Son of man
For too long
You have hid behind words”

He snaps his fingers
Loosening my limbs

“It is time to dance!”
