I am… brooding.

My diamond-hard heart
Was crushed into slippery graphite
And bouncy buckyballs
Over the blood and water
That flowed out of Jesus

I listen for the Spirit.

He says:

“Do not grieve
Over what you have lost
Rejoice
In what you have become”

I fall apart.

Pieces of me
Sink into the depths

The places
I once covered
Are exposed
To the light
Of many suns

Together…

We germinate!
