I am… brilliant.

When by myself
I am just heavy, ruined glass

But when the Son of God
Shines through me…

We see Jesus.

His light
Is a living thing

My stains
Cover their sins
While His purity
Drains them

More
It fills them
With awe and wonder

Which is the first step
To holiness

The light shifts.

I am afraid
It will set

But it is shifting
From the inside out
Casting His image
Onto the city

Like a reverse bat signal
Letting them know…

Jesus is coming!
