I am… imploding

The cross
Inside my shattered heart
Has become a black hole
Its gravity
Sucking in
Everyone
Who had received
A piece of my heart

I look for Jesus.

He is there
Inside the event horizon
His communion with me
The unseen Mass
Drawing everyone in

I cry out:

“Why Can’t They See You?”

“I am too weak
To bear this burden”

He shakes His head
And smiles:

“You aren’t yet weak enough”

The weight
Of people’s sins
Is like lead
Burying me

The Hawking radiation
Of His unseen presence
Transmutes that to gold

Crushing me
Even further

Jesus says:

“Don’t fight it
Embrace it”

He opens my eyes

I see
Every electron
In every atom
In my body
Is fighting
To maintain
Its unique identity

My
Unique
Identity

Because
Without these atoms
Of my ego
Who even am I?

Jesus grins:

“You have reached
Your Chandreshekar limit
Now
It is time to dance!”
