I am… fragmenting.

Now that I am at rest
Floating in the sky

The ties that bind
Me to others
Are pulling me
In too many directions

I look for Jesus.

He says:

“Let me
Hold you”

I embrace christ.

I bear His cross
Trembling inside me
Excruciatingly painful
Indescribably glorious
Immovably solid

All the connections
I thought
Would pull me apart

Pull them
Closer to Jesus

My heart breaks.

Overflowing with joy
As throngs come together
Over my brokenness
To experience His holiness

I cannot bear
The agony of ecstasy

Jesus says:

“Hold on tighter
Just a little while longer…

“You won’t want to miss this!”
