- Becoming mature enough
- To bear the tension of
- Holding spaces
- Where others can fail
- To create room
- For them to mature
Spirit Approach Memo
Concluding Penitent
I am… feeding.
Slicing up
The lamb I loved
To feed myself
And my enemies
I listen for the Spirit.
He says:
“Look closer”
I realize
The enemies
I was running away from
Were the orphans
Human and inhuman
I had fathered
And abandoned
I cry out.
“Father, forgive me
I didn’t know
What I was doing”
My Father replies:
“The body and blood
Of my Lamb
Is my new covenant with you“You were once an orphan
And had no choice
But to make orphans
Or die”
He points
To the lamb that was slain
And speaks
The awefull Word
The Lamb rises.
He speaks:
“Behold
I was dead
But now live“You who were once far away
Have been brought near
By My Blood“I have reconciled you
To your Father
So I can reconcile
Your lost children
To you”
I weep.
They weep
We embrace
I kiss them on the mouth
I share with them
The Body and Blood of my Lord
I tell them the story
Of all that I have done
And all that He has done
For me
So they can share it
With their children
And their children’s children
And their children’s children’s children
Now and forevermore
Amen.

Scripture
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit will not depart from you, and My words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouths of your children and grandchildren, from now on and forevermore,” says the LORD.
Isaiah 59:21
