Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Letting the Father
- Reintegrate my walled-off parts
- So we stop sabotaging our own success
Yahweh Approach Memo
I am… rebellious.
Every part of me
At war with the other
Building fortifications
Sending out spies
Infiltrating formations
Never recognizing
The enemy we are consuming
Is our very self
I look to My Father.
He says:
“Now you know
What it feels like
When My Body was broken
So one piece
Could create your universe”
I cry out.
“How
Can You bear this agony?
Why
Do You allow this waste?”
He smiles.
And replies:
“Because I see
The bigger picture”
And for the briefest moment
I see too.
The primordial cosmic energy
Decaying into sluggish atoms
Stars birthing and dying
Spewing their elements
To seed the next generation
A fiery volcanic planet
Condensing to seas
Bacteria warring
To give birth
To plants and animals
A vicious yet beautiful cycle
Of emergent complexity
Driven by generative sacrifice
A horrific asteroid
Snapshotting hydrocarbons
For our future development
Resetting the game
For mammals to emerge
Differentiate
Conquer
The warring tribes of humanoids
Pushing us to collaborate
Language
Civilize
Survive
Conquer
To achieve
Enough complexity
We could see
The face of God
In Christ
And enough morality
We could kill Him
So He could save us
From our selves
Finit

Scripture
“We know we have rebelled and have denied the Lord. We have turned our backs on our God. We know how unfair and oppressive we have been, carefully planning our deceitful lies. Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed. Yes, truth is gone, and anyone who renounces evil is attacked. The Lord looked and was displeased to find there was no justice. He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed.
Isaiah 59:13-17 NLT
So he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him. He put on righteousness as his body armor and placed the helmet of salvation on his head. He clothed himself with a robe of vengeance and wrapped himself in a cloak of divine passion.”
