Spirit Approach Memo

Continued from Unthinkable

I am… uplifted.

When I died
And sank to the bottom
Of the ocean
The pressure
Tore me apart

This freed me
From the heavy yoke
Buried deep inside me

My broken body
Torn into pieces
Became lighter
Floating
Spreading to the four winds

Carrying the good news
Of the feast
Of the king
And the King

I listen for the Spirit.

He says:

“Now is the time
To learn
The ways of the Spirit”

He continues:

“Only those
Who have died
To earthly yokes
Are fit
To take up
Christ’s easy yoke”

I see.

The Spirit
Has no body
But ours

All it has
To work with
Is relationship
Lived truth
Supernatural energy

Not physical power
Mental trickery
Or emotional manipulation

I understand.

This is what it feels like
To be Christ
After His ascension

This is
My eternal self
Temporarily yoked
To the earth

To share
In the great work
Of uplifting earth
To heaven

“And He shall reign
For ever and ever
And ever and ever”
