I am… running.

The lord of the castle
Seeing the childlike redemption
Of his unseen foes
Has called a fish-feast
From the heavenly downpour

For everyone

The call
Elevates me
From a slow shell-less turtle
To a fleet basilisk
Running across the waves
Spreading the good news

I listen for the Spirit.

I am not running
To the nations

I am running
To my Lord
My true Lord

My years
Of hard service
Are over

I must fulfill
The first call
Which sent me to that castle
And trust Him
To take care
Of my earthly lord

My heart pounds
With anticipation
As my feet
Literally

Take flight!
