We Declare Christ is the Head of:
- All creation: including every throne, power, ruler, and authority in heaven and on earth (Col 1:16; Col 2:10).
- His Church: leading and filling His body in every way (Eph 1:22-23; Col 1:18).
- Our family: as we submit to Him and each other (Jos 24:15; Col 3:18-21; Eph 5:22-6:4).
- Our lives: as we surrender ourselves as living sacrifices, living by faith in Him as our only Lord (Rom 12:1; Gal 2:20; Rom 10:9).
As Jesus Promised, We Invite the Holy Spirit to:
- Be in us and live with us forever: our constant Companion and Advocate, (John 14:16-17).
- Guide us into all truth: teaching and reminding us of everything Jesus said (John 14:26; John 16:13).
- Empower us to witness for Christ: so the Spirit can convict the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment (Acts 1:8; John 16:8).
- Bear His fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control (Gal 5:22).
